Winning Craps
If you enter accidentally a craps room on some online casinos, you will find something surprising: there are never too much players on the craps rooms, and those players that are already there will speak on the chat using some foreign languages. The truth is you will have hard times while studying the rules of online craps, but those players that managed to learn them will tell you that this is the most exciting game available in the online casinos.
The basic rules of craps will give you access to substantial craps bonuses. As there are not many players of craps, the casinos will not allow significant bonuses on this game. However, those small bonuses are easy to win, because of the same reason. Shooter, Pass and Rolled are the basic moves on craps, and you will have to master them perfectly before signing up with a real money account.
The players are taking the role of the Shooter one by one. Even if it is fun to be the shooter, you must know that this person has fewer chances to win the bonuses. This is why a good strategy is to bet less money when you are the shooter, and if you have the possibility, you shouldn’t bet at all. In a real casino, the shooter must throw using only one hand, and the dices must hit the opposing side for a valid throw. In the online craps, this is not the case and any throw is validated.
The Rolled part of craps defines the actions that must be taken after the shooting. The first shoot of a game is called Come out Throw. This shoot will establish a “point.” If this throw is 7, 11, or Craps (2, 3 or 12) the point will remain the sum of dices in the Come out Throw. If you have a 7 or an 11 as the sum of your dices, you will have the opportunity to throw again.
Once the point is established, the shooter will throw the dices until he gets the same sum. Basically, the role of the shooter is to throw out the same sum as soon as possible without getting Craps (2, 3, or 12). If the player gets a Craps, the dices will go to the next player.
The simplest craps strategy that could give you some craps bonuses is to place a bet that 7 or 11 will be the sum of the Come out Throw. This bet is so great as if you loose it, the shooter will also loose. Unlike blackjack and baccarat, where the players are only competing with the dealer, in Craps, making your opponents to loose money is important.
Once you get many players out of the game, you will have increased chances to win the craps bonuses. This is called the Pass rule and it is applied by the beginner and established players at the same time. The best strategy is to calculate all your options, and if you don’t see any appealing opportunity, go for the Pass bet. However, if the shooter gets a Craps, you will loose that bet.
The Pass rule also works vice versa. You will have to make a Don’t Pass bet against the shooter. This way, you will win if the shooter gets a craps. If the shooter gets a 7 or 11, the Don’t Pass bet is lost.
If a point is established, the Don’t Pass bet becomes an etalon, so it will remain active until the shooter throws a 7 or Craps. All the other Craps bets available are only different variations of this bet. If you understand those rules, you can go for a live account, as you will discover other fascinating strategies of the craps game.
